-Sinagoga Centro Israelita do Cambuci and The Bezalel Narkiss Index of Jewish Art- The Center for Jewish Art- The hebrew University of Jerusalem (http://cja.huji.ac.il/browser.php?mode=set&id=30572) -District: Cambuci- São Paulo - Brazil -Location: Rua Teixeira Mendes, 54.  -Foundation: 1941 -Project of the engineer Leo Bonfim Dei Vegni Neri, and responsible for the construction David Biase. The synagogue projects in the first half of the twentieth century in Sao Paulo reflected the architectural party present in the communities of origin of the immigrants who built them, that is, Eastern Europe.
-Description of the building: The building has a hall for kidush on the ground floor. Two external side steps lead to the entrance to the synagogue, located on the first floor. On this floor, a double wooden door is the access to the male section. Rows of benches and respective supports for sidurim, with space to store them, border the central corridor (wooden floor). These wooden benches still retain the small identification plates of their former occupants. The women's sector is located on a higher floor, in the format of the old synagogues.
-Current situation: building is conserved and maintaining, as far as possible, its original characteristics. This synagogue was closed for 15 years, and reopened in June 2014. On a monthly basis, a group of volunteers from the "Chavurá Boker" group organizes a community Cabalat Shabbat that is aimed at the active participation of children.
-Maintainers in 2018: King Solomon Masonry- “Loja Maçonica Rei Salomão”
-The “Escola Israelita Brasileira do Cambuci” (School) was a neighbor of the Synagogue (until it merged with the I.L.Peretz School).  Comments on the photos:
